Panther weekly update March 23-27 Posted on March 23, 2026 Week of March 23–27, 2026 Hello KPES Families, What a fantastic week we’ve had! From maple tapping to Maud Lewis–inspired art to some VERY mischievous leprechauns who kept us all on our toes, there has been no shortage of fun and learning at KPES. Thank you for supporting all the joyful moments that make our “Small School, Big Heart” motto come alive. 🎉 A Moment of Gratitude (and Exciting News!) I’m very happy to share that I have officially been appointed the permanent Principal of Kennebecasis Park Elementary. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue leading this wonderful school community, and I absolutely adore working with our amazing students, families, and staff. Thank you for the warm support—KPES truly is something special. 🍁 Celebrations from This Past Week Maple Tree Tapping with Mrs. Rioux & Mrs. Moore’s’ Classes Our maple tapping project is officially underway!Huge thanks Panther Parent, Geoff Hamilton and these classes for launching this outdoor learning adventure. All classes are encouraged to check the buckets and follow along with the progress—curiosity and outdoor learning at their finest! 🗓️ Week-at-a-Glance 🇫🇷 French Language Week (All Week) We will celebrate the beauty of French language and culture all week with classroom activities, announcements, and a school‑wide activity on Wednesday. Merci to everyone embracing this special week! Friday, we will be participating in our own version of a Tintamarre, a noisy Acadian parade celebrating French Language. If you have any noise makers, please send them in with your kiddies. We’d also ask that students dress in Acadian colours (red, white, blue with a bit of yellow) 🎵 Roland Bibeau Presentation — Wednesday, 1:15–2:15 PM A fun, lively bilingual musical performance for our students! We’re excited for this joyful cultural celebration. 📚 Scholastic Book Fair — Tuesday to Thursday Open during the school day from Tuesday to Thursday Cash only Thank you for supporting literacy at home and school! 💃🕺 Spring Dance — Thursday, 5:30–6:30 PM Join us for an evening filled with movement, music, and Panther spirit! $5 per student (or donation online) Cash canteen (all proceeds support building our outdoor classroom materials) We can’t wait to dance the night away together! 📝 Report Cards & School Update Report cards go home Monday, March 30th. Our bi‑weekly school update will be postponed due to an already busy day. The next update will be sent on Tuesday, 7 April, after Easter break.
