❄️ Snowflake Dance & Fundraiser Reminder

Reminder that the Snowflake Dance & Tech Fundraiser is on Wednesday, December 17th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Students can dress however they like—whether it’s a holiday sweater or jammies…all are welcome! I also clarified on the PA that this is for fun with friends; we aren’t bringing dates!

💖 Gift Card Drive for Compass Education Centre

On that giving note, as shared last week, parent volunteer Kate Zed is once again organizing a “Gift Card Drive” for the students at Compass Education Centre. Those who were able to donate last year added some extra cheer for students who don’t always have a lot of extra. The deadline for donations is Thursday, December 11th.

🚨 Safety Drill Information: Lockdown Practice

Our school will be practicing a Lockdown and Hold and Secure procedure in the coming days (Wednesday, December 10th). These drills are part of the EECD and ASDS safety policies to ensure that students and staff know what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency.

We approach these practices in a calm, age-appropriate way, emphasizing that this is just a practice to keep everyone safe, similar to a fire drill. Teachers will reassure students and answer questions in a supportive manner.

🛍️ Rummage Sale Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for a few volunteers for the rummage sale to take care of money/change and to help our little shoppers. If you are interested in helping out for part or all, please let me know. I’ll work on a schedule.
